The Mosaic Company is back for the sixth year in a row to lead the way at the Conservation in Action Tour.  The tour, organized by the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) will be held near Boise,Idaho on August 23-24.  The event is expected to bring 200 farmers, crop consultant, agribusiness leaders, conservation experts, university and extension star, and state and federal representatives together to observe the latest conservation innovation in southwest Idaho.

Idaho farmers produce more than 180 types of crops.  To accomplish this they must be on the cutting edge of sustainable practices in irrigation, nutrient and soil management.

Nancy DeLong, interim executive director of CTIC, said the Center’s relationship with Mosaic has helped the Conservation in Action Tour become a major event in conservation farming circles, bringing together people from every aspect of conservation farming for enriching dialogue on the challenges facing farmers and the solutions emerging to address them.
