The Kenai tablet offers at 10.1 inch multi-touch screen designed with high-quality readability in even the harshest light. The tablet was also created to help users who rely on specific color-coded information, making it perfect for mapping, and the Gorilla Glass insures durability for on-the-go use. The Kenai can be used with fingers, stylus, or capacitive gloves and the keyboard size can be used in landscape or portrait mode.
Featuring the Microsoft Windows 10 Professional operating system, the Trimble Kenai rugged tablet is a fully-functional field computer with a 1.46GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor, standard 4GB of memory, and 64GB solid state drive, upgradeable to 256GB of solid state drive for extra storage. The battery is hot swappable to provide hours of uninterrupted run-time, ideal for long days in the field. If industrial and manufacturing machine connectivity is needed, the Kenai tablet also includes an integrated RS-232 serial port.
The Kenai tablet computer meets MIL-STD-810G military standards for drops, vibration and humidity; with an IP65 rating, it is protected against dust and water. The Kenai tablet is Federal Information Processing Standards 140-2 compliant for security in a variety of mobile device management applications.
