CropLife America made an appearance at the recent American Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Rancher Leadership Conference.  Kellie Bray, Senior Director of Government Affairs attended the #ShowMeYFR event to represent more than 90 companies who produce crop protection products for both conventional and organic growers.

Bray has seen a transition in the concerns of the member organizations in the last few years.  While issues pertaining to chemical products continues to be a high priority at the state and national level, increasing interest in what is happening at the local level has CropLife searching for new ways to be effective advocates for their customers.

“Farm Bureau as a grassroots organization does a great job of reaching out to people in their home communities and counties, so this is a great partnership to be here and to work with young farmers and ranchers and to really find those advocates who can help spread the message of crop protection benefits,” Bray says.
