The ag tech manufacturer, Net Irrigate, will be adding a suite of WireRat Pivot Monitoring Solutions to its product offerings. The new line up will absorb the existing PivotProxy brand and will give producers additional tailored pivot monitoring and control with the industry’s only copper theft detection.
Catering to the ”no-frills” segment, WireRat Pivot Monitoring Solutions’ modularized parts will give growers more options at lower price points. Although core product characteristics – such as no external power requirement, no monthly subscription fees, simple installation, ease of use and interoperability among all major pivot brands – remain the same, the new product suite allows cost-conscious producers to select and purchase the WireRat solution that best fits their needs.
“Net Irrigate’s user-friendly Pivot Monitoring Solutions have proven to be more affordable and reliable solutions compared to other products on the market,” said Rob Mercer, owner of Coney Irrigation. “My customers appreciate not having an ongoing subscription fee and like that they only pay for the features that they actually utilize.”
WireRat Pivot Monitoring Solution suite offers growers solutions like a simple, stand-alone span cable theft detection device and their comprehensive pivot monitoring system. Growers can expect status updates, GPS and remote shutdown capabilities from prices ranging from $549 to $1,299.
“We’re aware that the market is down, and there is a large gap in this underserved segment of agriculture,” said Edward DeSalle, CEO of Net Irrigate. “Most pivot monitoring solutions cater to the up-market by encompassing a wide range of features that customers pay for but never use, and this new suite of WireRat Pivot Monitoring Solutions closes the gap by offering more direct, need-based solutions at a cost effective price.”
To extend the life of the product, Net Irrigate has added dual batteries to the WireRat MX and the MXL. More details are available no their website.
