Mitas has earned Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating with Partner-level status.  The John Deere Achieving Excellence Program recognizes companies that are dedicated to providing products and services of outstanding quality and show commitment to continuous improvement.  A ceremony was held in Germany to honor company employees.

Mitas is a Prague based company which sells radial agricultural tires to John Deere operations in Europe, Russia, the United States and Mexico.  Their tires are sold under three brands: Mitas, Cultor and Continental.

“Mitas has received the Partner-level award five times since 2004,” said Jaroslav Čechura, Mitas’ CEO.

“The Partner-level award from John Deere is an important acknowledgment of the quality of Mitas tires and moreover the service beyond the product provided by the Mitas team,” added Lutz Rose, Mitas’ key account manager for John Deere.

Suppliers are evaluated each year on quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and responsiveness.  John Deere Supply Management began the recognition program in 1991 to promote improvement and provide a feedback process.
