jd-develop-16-poulson The industry is increasingly looking to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) as tools for precision crop management solutions, and thanks to the UAV software developers at Sentera, producers can send their drone data directly into the field through the ability to integrate their UAV imagery with John Deere Operation Center.

Kris Poulson, VP of Agriculture for Sentera, sat down with Chuck at the Develop with Deere Conference to discuss Sentera’s agriculture solutions, which including AgVault Software, precision sensors, and fixed-wing and quadcopter agriculture scouting drones.

“We give people the ability to do things that are actual at the field edge, and everything we build is modular, so you can choose to participate in whatever capacity you’d like,” he said.

With Sentera’s integration platform, John Deere Operation Center users can seamlessly send imagery from UAVs, scouting notes, images from mobile devices, shape files, and prescription files directly to Operation Center. Once uploaded, producers are able to edit the imagery, as well as make notes on it.
